Rangers caretaker manager gives notice he will leave in 12 months time due to Personal Reasons. #shambles

Guy Luzon has been granted a work permit and is ready for his first game in charge......v Wolves

Always bad news when you meet a team with a new manager..they more often than not play a blinder to show what they can do, and get a result..still hoping for a narrow win mind..

You mean like how brilliant we played when Saunders came in? :D

Like Wolves you mean? The last time we won the first game of a new manager's reign was just over 14 years ago.

Was it Rowetts first game with Brum when we drew 0-0? Hope we play better than that this week.

It's not normally the other team playing well. It's us being rubbish as we struggle to score

Linesman does his job properly and we win that 1-0.

It's longer than 14 years since we had a new manager win his first game by the way. Jones wasn't officially in charge for the Forest cup game, we drew 1-1 with Gillingham in his first game (Muscat missed a pen in injury time).

Lee won his first caretaker game 6-1 at Bristol City but his first permanent game was a 2-0 defeat at The Hawthorns.

Definitively the last one to do it was Taylor, we beat Tranmere at home. So nearly 21 years.

Was Graham Taylor really 21 years ago?? Grief, that makes me feel old

John Carver given the Newcastle job until the end of the season

Mauro Milanese has left his position as sporting director at Leyton Orient after just six months in the role. Wasn't he manager there earlier in the season?
