Judging by his Rangers exploits, he'd be more than capable of drawing them back into the dogfight. He'd find it a lot easier to sell if he hired a competent manager who could build on some of the talent they've found in recent seasons.

Pulis will not go to WBA unless they change their whole structure that means sacking about 6 staff and pulis bringing in his own staff. Peace simply won't fork out for that full stop it's the reason Sherwood told him where to go.

Different owners but Newcastle themselves did similar when they poached Souness off Blackburn. They were going to sack him anyway.

Albions structure worked well when Dan Ashworth was in charge of recruiting players and the head coach but since he's left the system has proved flawed due to having the likes of richard Garlick and now Terry Burton doing the same role which hasn't worked.
