I don't think it's about that. It's about making money off Sarkic hopefully in the Summer. We'll then sign someone else to replace Sa, sell Sarkic and hopefully Sa and Bentley remains the number 2

It all seems like a bit of a waste of time for me. But maybe the club think Bentley is a more experienced better keeper to have as back up, and that Sarkic can put himself in the shop window by playing every week at Stoke. That’s assuming he starts for Stoke. Think they’ve got Bonham in goal there at the moment.

I'd have this version of Wood over this version of either of them. He's 31, doesn't have an injury history and is rusty rather than cooked imo. I wouldn't have paid £15m for him though
