Martyn Ziegler is more reliable than most especially surrounding football finances, I think Forest will be ok it’s how they manage the next coming of seasons where they may well have to draw back on their spending.

If they're successfully it would set the precedent that using money from outside the relevant periods is acceptable, which would make a mockery of FFP

I could be wrong but I thought that sales in the close season after a financial year end could be used in the ffp calculations?

Everton did that with Richarlison but sold him much earlier than Forest sold Johnson (1st Sep)
