So if Forest want their sale of Johnson taking into account for FFP purposes, they'll also have to include the total write off (and one assumes pay off) of Shelvey being as they actually released him and didn't loan him, as they originally lied about.

I saw something the other day saying that Fernandes' game without the ball has improved so much since he mastered the art of gegenpressing referees.

Sunderland fans frothing as not only have they given a whole end to Newcastle for the cup game (as we know, sometimes this can't be avoided) but they've kitted out the bar for Newcastle too.

Genuinely unforgivable that they have let that happen, shocker :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

£600 for a corporate ticket and entry and I guess they are hoping that the 700 paying that much (£420k !!) will cover the cost of a few hundred pounds of superficial changes.

Give them a Pie and a Pint and tell them to get over it
I have it on good authority that Jez didn't come up with that idea himself (although he obviously approved it!)

It's bizarre on every level, but the Cheer Up Peter Reid poster takes the biscuit. A song taking the piss out of their own former manager / fan hero

I presume that was already there. It was a Sunderland song before away fans adopted it (their version obviously had different words though!)

I totally get giving the stand to Newcastle, they're told there's little choice and ultimately clubs in the Championship aren't exactly swimming in cash, so it'll be a nice boost to the coffers. But redecorating is an absolute pisstake, so fucking braindead.

I know they have to make commercial decisions etc, but football clubs never seem to consider the fact that nearly everything they do will be scrutinised by their customers, every process change, every lick of paint, everything. It's mental that decisions aren't just ran by somebody in the office that actually supports the team, or even just likes football, to get a hint on how it will be received and if the benefit will outweigh the uproar. Bellends

I presume the idea is try and stop Newcastle fans causing damage to the usual Sunderland related decoration and maybe think Newcastle items will keep them nice ands calm after a few pints of Carling.....but these are the same fans that include people that punch horses so probably better just to have taken down the Sunderland shit and pre-ordered a load of paint and a new carpet ready for Monday morning anyway.

In a statement on its website, the Championship club said sorry to fans for "the understandable concern they have fairly voiced" and said an "immediate review" had been ordered.

It also said the Black Cats Bar, which will serve as a corporate hospitality area for visiting fans, would be returned to its previous state before the lunchtime kick-off.

Newcastle fans have also confirmed the bar will return to its previous state, as it was before the Stadium was built...

This was close to my thinking until I heard that they are paying £600 a ticket.

£600 for a Newcastle fan to mess up something belonging to Sunderland - worth every penny

Corporate area, camera's, faces, legal action.
