I enjoy the concept rather than the watching. Some games I'll walk the dog and have the phone set to goal alerts, strangely I enjoy that more than the viewing. Takes me back to being a kid and the goal horn

Would agree that the anticipation of it is often better than the actuality , but there's other areas of life where that happens as well.

Despite signing up for various football options really haven't watched as much as I expected to - no fans in the ground makes it a bit sterile.

Still the cost is no more than a season ticket would have cost & would have been happy to pay that.

I'm not sure I would. Nobody likes losing but watching Pulis ball would make me stop going.

Always prefer a win, but would want to give every game a real effort and some quality. If we come off second then that's life sometimes.

Will accept a Pulis style fluke win on ocassions, but not too often.

It's just I still feel it's all a bit of a charade. It wouldn't have happened 18 months ago, if I could see the game in the ordinary world I'd make sure I did if feasible. I just see this event now as a necessary sham. I can get up for /annoyed by games against Albion, Villa or throwing a cup last 16 match and always want us to win. I spend too much time on here to say I don't care, but find watching the actual product a bit meh. I think that's fanless football rather than Wolves being dull and midtable, although I think there's elements of the former which have brought about the latter

See I'm the opposite. I mean I don't watch as much football as others do, but during lockdown, I have watched every wolves game. Nothing else though - I have zero interest in watching any other team.
Match of the day has also lost my interest. I put it on, but zone out. I only pay attention to the wolves highlights and comments.
My dad is similar. He's a villa fan, and through lockdown has only watched villa games and wolves games, as that's all he's bothered about. He's lost interest in all other football really, and watches wolves games so we have stuff to chatter about in our weekly telephone call.

I agree with much of this. I really don't like the fake crowd noise and prefer the real life sound where available. Dressing this up with fan noise etc adds to the feeling it is a charade. I'd rather broadcasters be honest about what we're experiencing.
Personally I am up for every game mind.

There's still 22 blokes on a pitch kicking the ball around, everything else is superfluous, if anything this is perhaps football in it's purest form.

I've probably watched just as much as I normally would, there's more available but I don't really care for watching Burnley v Fulham so I'm not taking up every opportunity. All I care for it's what's happening on the pitch, so the lack of fans or whatever else makes no difference to me though it will have certainly had an effect on some games in terms of allowing some teams to be more cautious with crowd expectation or perhaps some players slacking off when it doesn't go their way as there are lesser repercussions in an empty ground. Think that probably says more about the managers and players involved though if they're doing better or worse without the fans, they shouldn't be influenced massively by the crowds, they're professionals and should conduct their business accordingly regardless of environment.

23rd in the league. One win in 13. They've failed to score in eight of those 13 games.

Unrelated (and I suppose doesn't matter for now) but as it stands, the Kop and Tilton Stands are literally condemned, can't be used, they don't know when they'll be fixed and it isn't even in the club's hands as they don't own the stadium any more.

On a Birmingham related issue, I saw that Bellingham played in the Champions League last 16 tie last night for Dortmund. An article in the Athletic suggests that he's doing well for them so I was just asking if anyone has seen in him play for them and how is he playing. Is he a possible answer in years to come for a central midfield role for England?

Kyril Louis-Dreyfus the new owner and Chairman of Sunderland.

He could play in their U23 squad if he wanted to
