You could ask any number of the people he sacks annually at the first sniff of an issue and hires back on shitter contracts. The guy is literally a walking advertisement for ending capitalism.
You never end capitalism, and have the great unwashed making decisions? My God man :)

A huge Tory donor, brexiteer and a tax exile as well I think, winning combination

Hes a cockroach. Stands to do very well out of the incoming bonfire of workers rights post Brexit. If you thought he was a shithead before you ain't seen nothing yet.

What incoming bonfire of workers rights is that? Have you seen anything or are you making assumptions?
Financial Times were leaked a memo regards Johnsons desire to water down rights in 2019.

In a call with 250 leading business figures earlier this month, prime minister Boris Johnson urged industry to get behind plans for future regulatory liberalisation after Brexit — to the delight of many free marketeers in his cabinet.

Moving forward to January 2021 Kwasi Kwarteng has already begun a consultation on workers rights which was set up by predecessor Alok Sharma.

I'll leave it there as this is a football thread - @ me in the Boris thread if you wish to reply as not to derail this. Happy to debate it further.

I see the Burnley takeover has instantly put the club around £60-£90m in debt.

New owners using the Glazer Family model of buying a club, where the club has essentially purchased itself. Great model if you are one of the world's biggest teams, have huge revenue streams from around the world plus 70k+ crowds (outside of Covid) and sponsors willing to chuck millions at you, probably not such a good model if you are Burnley.

I don't like Burnley and their tinpot ground and set up - hopefully they go back to where they once came from.

Is that being top flight league winners since we've won it and getting to an FA Cup final since we have?

Just somewhere lower down so I don't have to see them all the time.

I didn't say this dislike was rational.

They need to hold on to Dyche for as long as possible really.

Did they sign anyone this month? Obviously difficult but the new owner mentioned there was money for signings and Dyche has been a bit more bitchy about his budget in the last 18 months or so. They need to keep him happy.

Nope, no signings.

I can't stand Dyche, you don't get a picture of how much of a twat he is until you actually watch him on the sidelines in person. Bawling prick.

Yeah I think he's an idiot. His "last honest man in football" act does my head in. Bloody good coach/manager though, annoyingly.

Burnley only really signed Dale Stephens in the Summer in terms of players that will get any reasonable game time for them as well. He does a very good job there really when you consider what they have to work with.

I see his latest "wacky" press conference has gone viral.

Football League Trophy having a double final weekend in March.

13th March - Salford v Portsmouth (2020 Final)
14th March - The 2021 Final

I wonder how being cup tied works given that Neville signs a new squad each window?

Are Salford or Portsmouth still in the 2021 one??
