First off, test everyone involved 14 days before anything is scheduled, not the week before. Then have all those involved effectively self-isolating (apart from with each other) for the rest of the season. The players get paid enough to suffer a bit of inconvenience. As Punts says, I don't see how anyone [who isn't stupid, and with the obvious exceptions] is still catching it anyway. Perhaps the 'stupid' part is the problem (see Walker, K.).

Where will they self isolate? If it’s hotels do the staff need to be tested 14 days before too and isolate away from their families?

When someone self-isolates, I think it involves their families too, so they would be part of 'everyone involved'. Alternatively, rent somewhere else and live there. No problem with families (or anyone else) visiting if they've tested -ve beforehand.

However you can see it now. Day before the final game a player at 1 relegation threatened club will test positive

Moraliry and ethics aside clubs would be better off getting their entire squads infected asap so they don't get it when football kicks off again and lose players for 2 weeks

I think our feelings woud be different if we were down the bottom end of the table and there was a glimmer of light that could rule out relegation. Some of the teams have gone too far with it though, using some piss poor reasoning

Claiming that an incomplete Championship season means that the teams below aren't deserving of promotion rather misses the point that over a 38 game premier league season if completed, three teams will have been judged and found wanting, and therefore will thoroughly deserve to go down.

No idea how Fosun would be but pretty much every angle covered would have been done by Jez...

On the fans side there would be plenty wanting the season voided or relegation scrapped if we were in trouble.
