Presume their self isolation ends on Friday, rather than 14 days from now?

Bump the Euros to next Summer and shut all football down for a month continent wide.

Yes. But West Ham period of self isolation would only end on Saturday week if there was a carrier at Arsenal.

As an aside, if any of the self-isolating players at Arsenal test positive then our game at West Ham has to be postponed as they played West Ham after being in contact with Maranakis.
Arsenal players were tested and given the all clear. They will be back in training on Friday. So West Ham had no contact with a virus carrier.

Now though, with the PL calling the Arsenal game off as it falls inside the 14 day window, West Ham could ask for our game to go the same way. We are travelling to a club with a known virus issue so they could claim we put them at risk. That happens and our club is put on a 14 day lock down.
Unlikely to happen but it has the potential to get very messy.

Plus our lock down would be 14 days after the second leg. Meaning Bournemouth or Villa could do the same in theory.

They won’t need to be on lockdown for 14 days because if they are tested and don’t have it, then they don’t need to isolate.

The layman is only told to isolate because they aren’t being tested. The players and staff will all be tested and as long as it’s negative, back to normal.

Why aren’t Arsenal playing tonight but are on Saturday then, despite being all clear?

SwissRambles's take on Aston Villa's finances.

Wages at £83m (£95m with promotion bonus's)which was £27m above Stoke who had just been relegated. Who was receiving all of that as you would have thought that after 3 years out of the Premier League, most of the higher earners would have been off of their books.
Also it is widely known that they only met FFP due to a £36m profit on the sale of the ground. Shouldn't the EFL be looking at the reduction in the stadium value of £45m in 2016? If it hadn't been reduced three years earlier then the profit wouldn't have been made. Very dodgy indeed and looks part of a longer term plan to sell the ground in order to meet the FFP rules.

No idea. Maybe didn’t have test results in time so easier to postpone rather than potentially postpone it on the day...

The Arsenal one is odd. They have played 2 games since Olympiakos and then it is announced they met someone with the virus (or some did) so they auto go into the 14 isolation. Advised even if you don't have the symptons but have come into contact with someone who has. All Arsenal players were tested and given the all clear but for some reason it has been taken that the 14 days should stand but count the days since playing Olympiakos. All very odd.

If everyone now followed the 14 day advice and followed the way Arsenal have done it then West Ham would now be in that period (and would end after our game) as would Portsmouth. Technically we are making contact with a group who have made contact with a person with the virus and even though their results are clear we should also be taking a 14 day break in bed.

Chuck in Millwall and Forest to that as well along with whoever Pompey and West Ham played since facing Arsenal. Essentially, the 14 day advice is great for individuals but no so great when its sporting teams and their staff.

Arsenal are probably hoping the season gets canned as they are shite.

Roma not going to Sevilla as the authorities won't let their plane land in Spain.

Another complex issue, not sure they should have to forfeit if they want to play and are trying to get to game but aren't allowed. By extension if Italian teams are de facto prevented from participating , either competition has to be cancelled full stop or delayed until all teams can play.

UEFA have a bit of a dilemma here. Do they treat Getafe and Roma in the same way? It’s a mess. And ten planes of Atleti fans have arrived in Liverpool. Madrid has over 1,000 cases within the City boundaries.

Timo Hübers of Hannover tests positive.

Daniele Rugani of Juve also tests positive.

So Emergency PL meeting tomorrow, only can see one outcome which is suspension of the league.
Apparently some senior figures at certain clubs want the season voided, hmm wonder who that might be. Would bet at least one if not more are involved in a side that plays in a claret & blue top strip.

If we are 12-14 weeks off the peak then I'm not sure what the alternative solution is. Behind closed doors with whoever in your squad isn't ill?
