The PFA are starting to kick off about it so hopefully that will get the one game removed. Make the league Cup semis 1 leg and there's the extra space you need.

Already plans for the League Cup SF to be single games but that is linked to the expansion of the Champs League.

Heaton and Wesley Both impact injuries. Not sure you can blame the schedule for those.

Standard Ben Mee “excessive force”. Actual tackles that cause injuries are allowed but innocent coming together like Boly at City last year aren’t.

We’d be raging if it happens to our player. We gave Robinson abuse for breaking SEB leg but that was the landing more than the tackle itself.

Nothing new from Mee at all I agree. Thug.

Someone is going to get Bellingham dirt cheap at this rate

What have they actually spent money on? They're 18th FFS!

Still paying ludicrous wages I guess. Stockdale still earning north of 60k a week for doing fuck all

They haven't cut the wage bill fast enough as laid out in their ffp plan apparently. Also bought a midfielder (Sunjic) for like 7m. Broke their transfer record and doubt he plays for peanuts.

Good section on WM tonight regarding Birmingham. Basically they were following an EFL plan last season who advised for them to sell players in January. The Blues board argued that transfer fees in January would be less than at the end of the season and went against the EFL. They ended up more than doubling the cash offers from January at the end of the season for Adams and Vassell and are arguing that the long term stability of the club was improved by doing so. They are not currently under any embargo and are free to sign players. The charge is thought to be far less serious than last seasons, they are contesting it and points deductions unlikely.

You have to agree with their stance. They were nailed on for points deduction and the EFL wanted them to sell prize assets, against the club and player's wishes risking losing money in the process and possibly getting relegated too.

They deserve to get a severe punishment. Totally disregarded their repayment plan, so I say repossess their house.

Would be difficult but I wonder if we could tempt Emre Can? He's just turned down Man Utd because of his Liverpool connections, but he's available for about £25m.

to be honest, he's someone I had considered as viable. Although not convinced midfield is a priority for us to strengthen.

Jacqui Oatley taking over the Sunday Supplement I. sky - the odd time I do watch it it’s usually quite interesting. Also starting a new podcast with Tim II on the Athletic.

I know I’m not supposed to think this, what with her being a wolves fan and what not, but she’s really, really dull.
