Palace planning to build one new massive stand (presumably replacing the Arthur Wait Stand, which is a deathtrap):

Isn’t the whole ground bar the one begind the goal a bit shit?

I think the largest stand is the one opposite the Arthur Waite stand - presumably that'll be their main stand.

The Arthur Waite stand is one of the shittest stands I've ever experienced. Crap hole of a place.

Another project that wont probably happen and yes you are right DW it replaces the death trap stand

Not unless South Bank season ticket holders start complaining about persistent standing. Can't see that happening though.

Ah, didn't read the article properly. Saw some fans had complained and that H&S certificate granters were involved. Hadn't realised the club had gone to them though. As you were

Euro 2020 becomes even more stupid:

It's barmy anyway having the tournament across the whole fucking continent, Brussels pulls out...shall we give the games to major cities in Sweden or Wales with top class stadia already in place? No, let's give them as extra games to Wembley for no reason.

I don't know why this nonsense wasn't canned as soon as Platini was chucked. It was his stupid idea and he isn't there any more, cancel it and give it to England, Spain or Germany who could all host a tournament tomorrow. Oh, and put it back to 16 teams.

Alberto Brignoli scores to give Benevento their first point of the season, the first gk to score in Serie A since Taibi in 2001.

95th minute, their first ever top flight point having lost the previous 14 games. The game was also Gennaro Gattuso's first game as AC Milan manager

Milan are in shambles. Lost 2-0 to Rijeka today. Gattuso won't last the month at this rate.

State of this prick :icon_lol:

"Yeah, I signed all the good players or those we made money on, everyone else was Bilic's fault"

I bet West Ham fans are drooling at the prospect of the two Sullivan kids (18 and 19) taking over the club. Particularly as both boys have had at least one weeks work experience in every West Ham department. Experts.

Sullivan really is an odious cock of a man.

Much like Cotterill, he's dangerously stupid. Brady is the real vile one at that club.

Imagine reading that as one of the players he has commented about.

“I’m not involved in the strategy. The manager says he wants Fonte from Southampton and Snodgrass from Hull. My kids begged me not to sign them.”

Sullivan goes on to take the credit for signing Manuel Lanzini, Ashley Fletcher and Havard Nordtveit but he adds that Bilic wanted Marko Arnautovic, Joe Hart, Javier Hernández and Pablo Zabaleta.

“I regret it in a way, the first year I was more involved and the next two years I was less involved. We’ve let the manager pick who he wants. Maybe going forward we won’t. We have to take a look at the age of the players we’re signing. We will have to bring in two or three in January. They won’t be old journeymen, they will be young players. They won’t be 32.”

Really good way to boost morale of some of your players. Idiot.

Saw that! Very good of him
