The Football News Thread 2017/18 - everything not Wolves

Well it made me laugh.

Don Goodman and Steve Bull's anecdotes were awesome when I saw them in the summer. Don't really care if they're true or not if they're funny!! (Which Dean Saunders' clearly wasn't, I hasten to add).

The next TV deal for the Prem will include games kicking off at 7.45pm on a Saturday

Watching the highlights of Sporting Lisbon's game last night, and just realised the team they were playing - Famalicão, are staying in the same hotel as me. Saw them all in their FCF tracksuits at breakfast this morning!

The keeping in the Sunderland vs Millwall game is truly spectacular.

Yeah that's well funny - but I think it's beaten by the miss in the Cardiff v Brentford game. Truly unbelievable!

Scores two goals and off to see his son born still in his kit.

Edit: Ninja'd by Machin

We had him on trial for a while a couple of years back I seem to recall.

Apparently he told the team at half-time. Quite the motivational speech: 'Lads, you were shit. Three-nil after 45 minutes? Shocking. Go out and make it respectable. By the way, I've got cancer,'
