Agree with Langers there - watching sky sports is awful, its wall to wall betting adverts. Betting destroys as many, if not more, lives as the money shop and wonga.

Take a look at this:

Ridiculous.

Yeah, it's too far now. So easy to bet too these days with smartphones, 20 years ago it was just shitty little bookies on the street and that was it. Have a go any time you want now on anything you like.

I like a bet just as I like a drink but it's not responsible to advertise either so rampantly when kids are a decent sized subsection of the audience.

Neil Taylor gets a 2 game ban for his leg breaking challenge on Seamus Coleman

I think it should have been a longer ban. It was a shocking tackle, and that should have been reflected in the severity of the suspension.

I don't think it's that bad of a tackle compared to some we see, it was late and a poor decision to commit because of that but the injury was a result of the force/speed both players went into the challenge rather than any malice or intent from Taylor.

Certainly nowhere near as cynical as Ramos' pre-meditated lunge at Messi the other day but luckily there was no injury caused there so there will be no more made of that one, the outcome alone shouldn't determine the severity of the punishment in my eyes.

I wonder if they'll get points docked if found guilty

Swindon were demoted for financial irregularities in 1990. If the offences involve player wages, which it appears it does, similar punishment should follow for any club who find are guilty.

I agree, I watched it live and it looked like a challenge you'd see in many games. Taylor made a decision to go for the ball in a split second - hindsight is a wonderful thing.

I said at the time it was a shocking tackle, and one that could easily cause serious injury, which it did. And the recklessness of the challenge should have resulted in a longer suspension.

It was a pretty awful tackle. Was half way up is shin. The force wouldn't have been an issue if it's wasn't so high. After all, the middle of a long brittle object is the weakest bit.

Bale's tackle was equally as bad IMO. Should we ban him as well or did O'Shea need to break his leg before we can do that?

Bales tackle was awful too. Should have seen red. Ref bottled it. Stupid rule that there can be no retrospective action means he gets away with it.

For me, it's all about intent - if a players action endangered another player that should be punished. Whether an injury is caused shouldn't come into it.

That being said, my dad always said that if you injure another player you should be banned until the other player has recovered - i kind of agree with him, but it would be very hard to enforce

Would be harsh in some cases, Karl Henry broke Zamora's leg but it wasn't even a foul.

Maybe if you injure another play as the result of a foul?

But that would rely of refs calling things correctly

West Ham and Newcastle raided by HMRC on fraud investigations, newcastles managing director amongst those arrested says the BBC website

Chelsea also had a visit but no arrests nor evidence taken from the club.

The HMRC have been rammed by football clubs in the past and they need a "win" against at least one of them, just hope they have got a new legal team because the one they used for the Portsmouth case were dreadful and somehow lost.

This is allegedly fraud. So don't think Portsmouth here. Think Swindon.

Is there any reason why the league one season ends this weekend, a week before the the championship and league two seasons end?
