What a complete and utter fucking bellface.

How old was the person who came up with that? 13?

I have to stop looking at the picture as the lack of space plus the capital H after the comma in the first line and the small c on Costa are annoying me. As is the misspelling of his own player's name.
Fortunately he spelled copyright correctly though.

I hope he doesn't think you can gain copyright by just writing "copyright" at the bottom of the piece of paper

West Ham should be forced to play behind closed doors if the violence that marred Wednesday's derby with Chelsea is repeated, an MP has said.

Bottles, seats and coins were thrown at London Stadium as hundreds of fans clashed. Six people were arrested, three of whom have been charged.

It was the latest outbreak of disorder at West Ham's new ground this season.

"None of these problems were unforeseeable given the nature of the stadium," said Mark Field MP.

"Within the next 14 days, the West Ham board should present a detailed plan to the Football Association and Premier League outlining what they are going to do about security," the all-party parliamentary football group vice-chairman told the Evening Standard.

"There have been clear failings. If there is a repeat of the violence, the next two or three home games for West Ham should be played behind closed doors."

I cannot understand what the problem is with England and Scotland players wearing poppies on their shirts for next weeks game. I know FIFA have a rule that bars political, religious or commercial messages on shirts. But in my opinion the poppy does not come under any of those categories.

Sadly FIFA class the Poppy as a Political message. They did something a few years back where they banned England from having the Poppy on the shirt but in the end allowed it to be worn on an armband or something. FIFA are in a world of their own so pointless trying to work out why they do things.

I'm sure the 2 teams will find a way to remember without having FIFA steam in.

It's a simple but poignant sign of respect so I don't get it either. In the case of players like James McClean who refuse to wear one, I suppose we also have to respect his views even if we disagree with it.

I do think it's an important event to commemorate but at the same time I find it's a bit overblown on social media. Almost mawkish.

FIFA interpret lots of things in funny ways. Envelopes of $$$$ are not bribes apparently!

Do the Scots typically feel differently about the Poppy than do the Irish?

Not really. Those on the Irish side who object do so because the British were perceived to be an invading force during The Troubles. We haven't invaded Scotland for a few hundred years ;)

Yes - it is the Royal British Legion.

Scotland are involved in that, and they share an army with the rest of Great Britain.

The Irish don't.

Cheers. I've got a rough time wrapping my head around some of the intricacies of British Isle politics. Like how the "southern" Irish apparently don't recognize that places like Belfast even exist.

The main one for that is to a republican it would be "Derry" rather than "Londonderry"

I'm usually up in Scotland at this time of year and they are big on the poppy though there's is slightly different, sturdier and concave but without the leaf

Miro Klose has retired. Now there's a player who made the absolute best out of fairly limited talent.

Danny Ings having all the luck in the world at Liverpool. Out for 9 months with a knee injury
