I'm surprised Stephen King has allowed that. The original De Palma film is rightly a classic
Just watched Taken. Excellent stuff.

Just no, ok? Fucking stop it! Write something original eh?
Had the two part "Mesrine" through from LoveFilm. Watched part one - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1259014/ - last night. Really good. A lot of story that spans quite a few years. I really like that type of story telling. It's also refreshing to see a gangster film that's not set in America or involving 'The Mafia'.
It's worth a watch. Will take in part 2 in the next couple of days.

Talking of French films I watched 22 Bullets the other week - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1167638/
Starring Jean Reno about a bloke who's retired from the French Mafia in Marseille but gets dragged back into it after they try to kill him and fail. Not bad, not great. Worth a watch though.
Saw The Avengers last night, cracking film. I have a question, however...At the end of the credits, the alien is talking to someone about Earth...who's he talking to? I missed the big reveal as I'd taken my glasses off and was half way out of the cinema when it happened!!
I really enjoyed Mesrine. Bit overlong with the 2 parts but still really good.
Another French film that I really liked was District 13. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0414852/
Also very violent, has some excellent martial arts stuff and a really silly plot which doesn't hurt it at all.
