The F1 Thread

The RB hate here cracks me up lol

Bummer for him, ran a good race with leclerc, was enjoying the back and forth. Pretty brutal to have that happen with 3 laps left.

I’m a few minutes behind, just saw the Perez spin out. Woof. Rough start for RB.

Ferrari look absolutely irresistible for WCC and WDC if this opening race was anything to go by. The real win is KMag at P5 tho, so pleased Mazepin is gone and Steiner can develop the team as he wishes it

Superb drives from Leclerc, Magnussen and Bottas. Impressive start from Zhou too, fair play.

Merc will be ecstatic with that and George by no means disgraced next to Lewis.

As an Alonso fan, a slow car that eats tyres isn't the best first impression. Nevermind!

mags and don’t forget Bottas in 6th in an AR

Love them Ferrari power units. ;)

Felt sorry for him today, I’m sure he loves racing but he needs to think about whether this is good for him.

Big thing is the three retirements were Red Bull Power Train engines. They may be quick as fuck but finishing does sort of help.

Ferrari races as good as it looks.

He'll be fine, I don't think he's really expecting to win, or even compete for a title again - his demeanour was superb last season. If he helps the team progress this year and hands over to Piastri, he'll be happy enough.

Apparently he had damage from lap one today, so had no real chance.

Oh Horner is going to do an interview with Sky F1. This will be more salty than the Dead Sea.

That was my thought as well. Seemed to know what he was getting into last year. The team lucked into some podiums.

If you want to talk about feeling bad for a veteran racer my heart goes out to Vettel, lol.
