He would have no chance to do anything from the footage I have seen. He had about half a second to react if that.

The reaction of the Formula 1 drivers in their media as it happens immediately reminded me of the scenes in Senna where they saw the Ratzenberger accident. The drivers instantly know when it is a bad one.

Fantastic to see Charles win his 1st race. Circumstances take the edge off it a little but a fully deserved win after being denied a couple of times this season.

Also the first time Ferrari have told Seb to get out of the way to allow his teammate through this season. Very good race from Lewis as well and could have snatched the win at the end. Puts another 3 points on his overall lead.

Really gutted for Norris at the end, loses out on a career best 5th with a break down on the last lap.

P1 a bit pointless today due to the wet track. 3 red flags, every car that goes out on track struggling to stay on the track. Merc not even sending out of their drivers (typically as I post this Lewis drives out with 25 mins of the session left)

Superb race from Le Clerc today. The Ferrari was stupidly quick down the straights but the Mercs on him at every corner. A couple of maybe dodgy moves from him but nowt Lewis wouldn't do if in front and made an error and got away with it. Even if Lewis or Bottas had got in front, he would retaken the lead on the pit straight anyway.

Lewis ragged his tyres to death, so no surprise when he made the braking error. Nabbing the quickest lap meant he has gained 1 point over the last 2 races over Bottas.

Dubai is alright. Bit hot. Fucking massive place if you don't have long to make the connection so beware of that.

Changi airport is fucking superb when you get there though. On your way back definitely try the rooftop bar at the terminal (I think it is called Bob's but it has been a while...)

On that, miracle happened at Brum. Got to security and not a single person ahead of us. Walked straight to the trays and done in 30 seconds . Staggering.
