The F1 Thread

A Pirelli has just gone pop again for Rosberg in Bahrain. Only at 320 km/h.

I'd forgotten the test was on this week.

Schumacher injured in skiing accident, airlifted to hospital. Injuries not too serious apparently.

Yeah 5Live said it was serious but not life threatening.

Saw this news earlier and it said it wasn't serious but just seen he is in a coma and had an operation.

Fingers crossed for him

It was an induced coma though which isn't as bad as it sounds.

As my medical knowledge is pretty low, did they induce the coma on his way to hospital as the reports say he arrived in a coma?

I presume after his op they have basically kept him asleep

I think they induced it before they moved him.

The hospital say he is fighting for his life. His injuries must be extremely bad. One can only hope he pulls through.

Looks pretty ominous - as the standard of proof is higher in the criminal proceedings, I reckon Bernie has a pretty decent chance of losing the civil case in London.

Oh dear. Poor old Martin will be getting the bullet soon then! I wonder if Ross Brawn would be tempted?

Whitmarsh has already gone I think with immediate effect - I only caught the item very briefly on SSN so didn't get the full SP.

That'll be the end of the Alonso to McLaren rumours then.

Contrary to this Whitmarsh is actually still the team principal and Dennis is still set to sit down and decide on any changes to the management structure.

I like the new Force India (well from the side anyway). To be fair any time a team changes it's usual livery it gets a thumbs up from me.
