The Definitive TWF Wolves XI Thread (1970 - present)

Now we have a problem as these are the only wide players on the left I remember (who were any good), so will go with vague memories of:

Kennedy

Kennedy was outstanding in his first two seasons, if he was injured then basically we were screwed. Unfortunately those injuries ended up ruining him as a winger.

The stick he got at times was ridiculous. Ditto Miller. And Blake for that matter. Essentially, fuck our fans.

Some of the goals Kennedy scored were ridiculous. THAT strike at Stockport is one of the best I've ever seen from a Wolves player.

Better than Craddock's goal in the cup?

There was a bloke in the South Bank who truly hated Kennedy. He had some proper long and shouty rants at him.

The playoff goal got him in for me tbh.

Yep. It'd make my top 3 Wolves goals (SEB v Charlton being the number 1).

One day something might knock Bully vs Blues (1996) off the top of my list. Not for now though.

Have we done a 'best Wolves goal' thread? We must have done at some point.

Paul Stancliffe v Barnsley would be the other contender in my top 3. #clinical

Wagstaffe

Wagstaffe was a class above any other winger Wolves have had since Jimmy Mullen!

Difficult to pick the left winger/midfield knowing who is defending behind him. I'll base it on the team being so good the manager doesn't have to worry about such things.

If that manky little scouser hadn't just got his toe in to put off Helder...

Hurt to leave Froggatt out of my three. Excellent player. No room at the inn though, he didn't do as much for us as Jarvo did.
