The Definitive TWF Wolves XI Thread (1970 - present)

Love that goal! I've always wondered, but never bothered to work it out - but are those Stockport fans celebrating Kennedy's wonder strike?

Nah, pretty sure we were selling out everywhere at the time and so it's our fans in the home end (which I've only ever done once, at Maine Road. And we won, so it was tricky to keep a lid on it)

Sako
Dennison
Jarvis

Dennisons goal beating southall in the centenary celebrations was awesome!

I played bowls against waggy, when he played for hednesford. He took me right up and down the left wing there too. He was a decent bowler too.

Character left a little to be desired though.

Kennedy

A decent 3 for once in my quite small pool of players.

Dennison

Sako

Close to picking Kennedy and Burke too.

Nah, one of them is wearing a wolves hat...ah the friendly days when you could go in the opponents home end

Yes, the halcyon days of 2002 :icon_lol:

Easy to get away with it at Edgeley Park, less easy at Elland Road.

I had to sit on my hands in the home end at Pride Park when we beat them 3-0 with goals from Ndah, Huddlestone and Ganea (I think). It was Huds first ever senior goal from a delicious backheel from Vio.

Wagstaffe - by an absolute mile - my favourite ever Wolves player

Sako
Jarvis

Bakary Sako
Matt Jarvis
Steve Froggatt

Bugger - away without internet so missed the RW slot - still as the 3 I would have picked came 1,2 & 3 anyway clearly I would have made no difference (& I heard that at the back that I never do )

Wagstaffe

David Wagstaffe

Mark Kennedy

Robbie Dennison just missed out.

Kennedy.

Jarvis was frightening at times during our promotion season. Kennedy edges out Froggatt for me for playing a big role at Cardiff in 2003 and some other truly spectacular goals.

Toughest one for me so far, when you start looking at it, its amazing the amount of quality left wing/midfield players we've had over the years, even when we've been crap,

Waggy still my fav all time Wolves player
Sako
Jarvis

special mention in despatches for Dennison, Kennedy and Froggatt, seems ridiculous to leave them out
