Lack of Ugo love here is criminal. I know he never played at a top, top club, but I loved watching him play.

Hansen
Ferdinand
Butcher
Adams
Walker
Terry

I would obviously have had Moore in had I seen him play a bit, but I was 3 when he retired (I think). Hansen is probably the best I have ever seen in the UK game. Utterly brilliant defender.

On to right midfielders - as ever, make sure you pick someone who genuinely played there. Back to three picks, open until after the CL final tomorrow.

Mods, if you could sort the title please.

David Beckham
Steve McManaman
Ray Houghton

I know Waddle played on the right a lot for England as Sir Bob couldn't make his mind up between him and Barnes and ended up fudging the issue...but he wasn't really a right winger.

Toyed with the idea of Bale but again, he's left sided for me.

End result is that our final back four corresponds exactly with the first choice England defence from the 2006 World Cup. Which I don't think is a bad thing at all, that was a stupidly strong setup. All of those players were key defenders for teams regularly making the latter stages of the Champions League at the time.

Becks.
Erm
Fucking hell we've had some shit.
Waddle? No he was left wasn't he.
Erm.
McManaman
Dunno probs fucking Walcott

Walcott? :icon_lol:

Might as well pick David Bentley you absolute cockpocket. Remove yourself.

David Beckham
Liam Brady
going to have to ponder third place, but those two are massive stand outs.

Edit - I will go for Coppell as third

Played on the right in the 1979 fa cup final, although the infamous winner came from his cross on the left. He played across the attacking midfield, and I have other LM

Err, this is tough for somebody only able to view from the mid/late 90's onwards.

David Beckham
Steve McManaman
Joe Cole

Debatable whether Cole is an option there, but I can't pick Walcott, Lennon or SWP.
