The Definitive TWF UK & Ireland XI (1970 - present) - ST VOTING OPEN

Err, this is tough for somebody only able to view from the mid/late 90's onwards.

David Beckham
Steve McManaman
Joe Cole

Debatable whether Cole is an option there, but I can't pick Walcott, Lennon or SWP.

Yeah, he played on the right under Mourinho for ages.

SWP :icon_lol: I think I'd rather pick Tony Daley.

David Beckham
Gordon Strachan
Steve McManaman

I liked Mark Walters and Waddle but neither were that great looking back on it but both could beat their man with ease.

Oooh, Strachan is a good shout. Never saw him for Aberdeen/United but he was amazing for Leeds.

Ah yeh of course he did.

SWP just goes to show how abysmal our wide right options have been in the last decade. Shocking.

He was brilliant for a United and transformed himself when his legs were going at Leeds. Top class player. I liked Pat Nevin too as he could slalom round anything.

Slightly struggling with this after Beckham

Can think of names, but only by using the Dean Saunders selection policy

Pat Nevin
Gordon Strachan
David Beckham

David Beckham
Gareth Bale
Steve McManaman

I've gone with Bale on the right because he plays there more for Madrid and did so often for AVB at Spurs. And I think there are more left sided options to go with to balance it out :icon_lol:

Have my 3 now

George Best (he was still playing in this time frame)
David Beckham
Peter Lorimar

This isn't easy!!

David Beckham
Steve McManamnan
David Rocastle

I always thought Gareth Bale was a left sided player and was my pick ahead of Giggs...

Beckham
Lennon
SWP

Really scraping the barrel on this one.
