I think it was deliberate in offering Mooy that post if he bent the ball miles. Because that amount of bend would mean the ball wouldn't travel that fast, and so Rui would get there. It worked perfectly, and Rui got there. Unfortunately, when he arrived he messed up the save.

Weirdly, Huddersfield had someone crouching down behind the wall for a Neves freekick. I guess it allows the wall to jump as high as they can without running the risk of the cheeky one underneath.

My take on their freekick is that Costa stood away from the wall gives Rui a good view of the shot and tempts Mooy to shoot for that side. It worked in a sense, but unfortunately the shot being so low down made it harder for Rui, who kinda ballsed it up.

By that measure you can't blame Doherty for the first as having a free cross doesn't guarantee a goal.

Wasn't even an attempt. He knew he was going to foul him. A tactical foul that really worked out well for us (that said Boly should have been off by half time as he was injured, so the management take some blame as well)

Take it back to how Huddersfield broke on Wolves because Traore hadn't the skill set to look after the ball after MGW knocked a through ball into feet, easily taken away and they countered.
