Summer 2021 transfer window

Watching Portugal vs Ireland, once again a relief we never spent stupid money on Palhinha. He's no good at all.

I think I just read £35m for Mosquera would have been sound spending. He has played 16 games at the professional level.

To the tune of if you’re happy and you know it.
If you think Mike Dean is a wanker clap your hands if you think Mike Dean is a wanker clap your hands if you think Mike Deans a wanker think Mike Dean is a wanker If ya think Mike Dean is a wanker clap your hands

You’re not Pete Waterman, are you? That just doesn’t work!

Equally,

Stand up, if you hate Mike Dean
Etc etc etc

I heard a rumour but please take it with a huge pinch of salt as I did, but apparently Sanches deal fell over as he was asking the wrong sort of questions, like "do the local police take bribes"

Like I say a huge pinch of salt, but who knows, bit of a strange one to make up.

Doubt he even got as far as talking to someone at the club. His agent is Mendes, he's not letting that happen and he knows half a dozen players in our squad where he could research such information should he want. Apart from that, I'm in.

Like I say, not saying it's true, just what I heard.

But, if they had agreed terms or entered discussions then he would have been speaking to the club in some form. I agree it would have been more discrete to ask someone he knows, but he is a footballer, and well they aren't renowned for their intellect as a group.

I mean we were linked with someone who was actually convicted of armed robbery and kidnap, and is now under suspicion of rape. This is small fry.

English ones yes, I think it's unfair to apply this thinking to all footballers.

And I get it's unfair to label all English ones the same but then yesterday I heard 3 or 4 different former players say a variation of Ronaldo might find it difficult to return to the prem as the fitness levels of the players is so much greater than it is in Spain and Italy, and by fitness, I presume they mean run around more...

I'm still really disgusted at the possibility that the only reason we didn't sign that absolute bastard was that he wouldn't get a work permit.

His questions must have been more innocent like 'are there any under 18s discos in the town?' or 'do english girls leave their drinks unattended?'
