The FFP tag line is complete bollocks. It does not stack up at all.I don’t think we are cash strapped, we just got into Europe too early and got done by FFP as a result, so we need to err on the side of caution for now.
Well, that's something at least.
In which case selling someone for £42m with very little up front and buying someone for £35m in the same window, the vast majority of which was up front would be particularly negligentThe FFP tag line is complete bollocks. It does not stack up at all.
The more likely scenario is that the actual bank balance itself is not overly healthy (that is understandable and we would not be alone in that sense) and Fosun won't inject the funds required to tide us over until we recoup the £60m in prize money that has been deferred to the next set of accounts.
How many times does this myth need to be debunked?
You just have to look what Lucas Moura did. Absolutely nothing. Whereas Adama ‘might’ do something. Guess that’s where the thinking is.2) Why would Nuno want him? Another manager I understand would think If only I could get him to do x,y,z Surprised someone who has already tried and at best been only semi successful would want to try it again.
Yesterday was the most Adama of Adama days, I can see where both sides of the argument are coming from.
But Moura was MOTM the previous week vs City, ran them ragged. Has scored a hat trick in a Champions League semi-final and stuff. He's miles better than Adama on the whole, even if he isn't as explosive to watch. You just have to look what Lucas Moura did. Absolutely nothing. Whereas Adama ‘might’ do something. That’s the issue we have if we sell him. We get rid of someone who might do something to someone who won’t do anything. Yes He should have scored, but he gave Raul two decent chances he never even made the keeper work on, won multiple set pieces and gave Marcal the freedom of Molineux. He did enough yesterday to allow us to get something from the game but was let down by his teammates.
Oh and good to see young Liam giving the slap down (if indeed he does know better).
This is why I don’t *really* get why Nuno wants him, he offers nothing in addition to Moura or Son. He offers a similar threat but - on current stats - less frequently. But Moura was MOTM the previous week vs City, ran them ragged. Has scored a hat trick in a Champions League semi-final and stuff. Not saying I agree with Spurs wanting him but just trying to justify their thinking. But Moura was MOTM the previous week vs City, ran them ragged. Has scored a hat trick in a Champions League semi-final and stuff. He's miles better than Adama on the whole, even if he isn't as explosive to watch.

Although I do think If Traore was playing for Spurs yesterday instead of Moura he’d have had more impact. So does give them a different option, which they will definitely need if Son is playing down the middle if Kane’s off
Forgot about Gil. But don’t what he is or what he does, never seen him play.He does give them a different option, but they also have Gil and Bergwijn. He probably would have had more impact than Moura yesterday, and I’m not jumping on the “Nuno plays boring, pants football” bandwagon, but I do think our current playing style is having SOME bearing on Traore’s impact.
