Summer 2021 transfer window

Forgot about Gil. But don’t what he is or what he does, never seen him play.
He's the lovechild of Howard out of The Big Bang Theory and Gary Neville.

They have 19 year old Ryan Sessegnon too....

Nobody in their right mind sells gold to buy silver or Silva!!
If they sell Adama I expect Three oven ready replacements not vanity projects or over priced full backs . Thank you Jorge.

I’ve read Gil is a bit of an old fashioned winger but there are question marks over his physique. Sessengnon can’t decide if he’s left midfield or left back…

Still don’t know what Sessengnon is either!
He was on the bench yesterday (I think!) but realistically he was never much more than a tap in merchant for a very attacking Fulham side in the Championship as far as I could tell.

I think I would fear for Spurs a little if Son down the middle is their plan too if Kane goes. I can’t recall him having much impact in the first half at all yesterday.

His value won't decrease, this is a total fallacy.

Look at the current market. Burnley aren't selling Tarkowski when he has one year left. United aren't selling Pogba when he has one year left.

It's outdated thinking, it's like saying Razorlight are still good.
If only Adama had a golden touch.
It doesn't really matter if its outdated thinking if it is how Fosun are thinking though

We pressed them so well. Neves was outrageous. And their midfield 3 was garbage.

Was so refreshing to see football like that even if the WBs and forwards let us down in the final third.

Makes me optimistic for playing the weaker teams in the league but will probably have to reasses it against City, Chelsea, Liverpool. They’ll beat the press and then we’re fucked.

Well, true. I don't think that is their mindset though, it's Timbo not understanding football finance because he never has. I think (if it happens) it's a case of cashing in on an asset, the contract doesn't come into it.

We're in danger of having a squad that's full of players that could be good in 5 years. Can't see the point in selling the players who are good now to reinvest it into more players who might be good in 5 years. How about we actually sign some players who are good now.
It's hubris and despite what some will tell you is a change of policy which kicked in last summer. If you believe GFFH's post it also lead to the breakdown in the relationship between them and Nuno

Indeed. To be honest, I can see a world where he goes and we loan Guedes (sorry) or Ocampos for a loan fee plus obligation to buy, and we spend the rest on a CB and/or CM. Hopefully both IF it happens. Though I’d rather keep Adama.

Not even remotely true, is it.

We aren't going to sign a player who is 29 and has absolutely no top level experience (he's only recently become a Championship level player), for £7m, when he's so obviously limited technically.

Football Insider is fiction, it has no more validity than the crap we used to literally make up on Vital Football.

I was quite optimisic transfer wise going into the summer. As times gone on, unless something amazing happens in the next 8 days, it looks as though the more pessimistic view is being borne out. What's GFFH's post? Must have missed that one.

Good job we took down the USA flag this week.

If we loan Adama in the final week of the window we could hoist a white one over Molineux instead.

Clubs will know we've just had a windfall (of sorts) with days/hours of the window remaining. Good luck recruiting under those conditions.

I suspect any deals are ready to go. This is a situation where having Mendes on board can really work to our advantage.

It’s true. Look at how quickly we got Sa after Rui.

If we lose a player we do normally replace quite quickly.
