Summer 2020 Transfer Window (Extended Version)

I'd say although it's the case, it's not TWF per se, it's human nature. If someone is known for making outlandish statements they are more likely to get picked up on it, some like Morgan or Trump do it for the attention. Cyber couldn't just say he thinks Arsenal are ahead of us now, a point I agree with, he layered it with they are going to challenge for the league title when they finished 43 points behind Liverpool last year so is highly unlikely. It weakens the point he's making because that gets overlooked in favour of the hot take.

Agree with all of that.

It's not just who gets pulled up though (Cyber is obviously colourful and can make extreme statements to get his point across), it's who gets a bit of a free pass sometimes. I also think some people maybe know what they're doing, biting at the 'hot take' and ignoring the rest

It's just something I've noticed as a bit of an outsider and irregular poster, I'm sure it's not uncommon; like you say it's human nature to an extent, but I like to point it out when I see it as otherwise the narrative that it's people who are on the more critical side that are most prone to talking crap gains more credence.

You are heading toward 400 posts soon. That outsider status could be gone soon. We have you now!

Haha I know outsider is a wanky thing to say but you know what I mean!

Believe it or not I think it's a great forum and community and the vast majority of you are sound, despite differences of opinion and temperament. I'm just a bit of a critical twat sometimes!

I’m glad to hear that! Hopefully we get some news soon that makes us all positive and excited.

If our immediate rivals weren't signing players who are quite good (on paper), I wouldn't be worried.

Unfortunately, they are. I can't imagine the club aren't working toward getting something done but the positivity of a good signing would be really useful right about now.

Dwight McNeil, Danny Ings and Nani according to that guru transfer faker.

Guru Rumours exclusives are Dwight McNeil (maybe), Danny Ings (doubt it very much) and ... Couldn't be bothered to look. Back to the Woodbines and the glue

So McNeil and Nani, to go with Traore, Podence, Jota and Neto. Ok then

I actually got mildly excited by that, the bloody state of it

Nani is extremely happy in Orlando and a big part of the community there. Not a chance he leaves.

Janet Ellis on the Molineux View podcast is throwing Doc under the bus for the reason the move happened based on the standard, kick on develop my career interview he did on the Spurs website. Can't stand her.
