I think there's some clever usage of language going on where people are either calm and patient or panicky and entitled. You could easily flip the association and rename them complacent or concerned.
I don't think seeing problems necessarily means you're entitled, or don't appreciate how good we have it; for me it's the awareness that being where we are is fucking tough, and it's even tougher to get to the next level.
It truly took it out of our small squad last season, so when I say they need support for us to sustain and improve, that's a recognition of how well we're doing, it's a desire not to see the work undone, and drop back down to where we've been for the majority of my Wolves-supporting life.
Make no mistake, that drop can happen, Nuno and those good players will leave one day, I just hope its when we have the foundations to reinvent, which is what most of that top 6 have been doing for years.
I don't want to look back and see that missing out on Europe last year, maybe because a tired squad didn't have the backup to get over the line, set in place a chain reaction that undoes a lot of our work. I don't want Doherty not being replaced adequately and then that leading to a Neves or Raul looking elsewhere, or losing patience with the project. In spite of how well we've done in the past few years we're still newcomers to this party, and these fine margins count.
That's not being panicky and entitled... Maybe over thinking or being fatalistic!
