I think he broke that this season at one point. But it is a rare foray that sees him going past the edge of the D.
As good as we all know he is, he isn't really what Liverpool are after as far as I can see. At the moment they have four competent CMs in Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum and Fabinho, but none of them do enough to impact on the game in the final third so picking three from them leaves them a bit over-reliant on their forwards for goals and creativity. Keita hasn't come off yet, Shaqiri has always been hit and miss (with shite fitness) and sadly it looks like Lallana's best days are gone.
Neves doesn't fix that issue for them. You can argue he's already better than say, Henderson, but it leaves them with the same problem, there was a point with us where he'd never touched the ball in the 18 yard box for Wolves except when taking a penalty (don't know if this is still true).
Wolves have made a ‘verbal’ offer worth €42m for Marseille midfielder Morgan Sanson. [Le10 Sport]
That is a LOT of money though. Blimey.
Assuming 352 is the future then he wouldn't be a good fit for us but Dan James looks like he's going to be some player. Would be good if Nuno reconsiders 343
To split up the Raul - Jota pairing would be utter lunacy.
On Sanson, a number of French fans suggested the original source to the story hadn't got anything right in a few years, so there's probably nothing to it. There were also some Marseille fans comparing him to Zidane...
