What might have nudged the dial:

- An apology for and retraction of that awful article in the E&S, where we're told that "Wolves might not be the club for you"
- An admission that no, we were not "cheaper than most" in 2023/24, we have made decisions on pricing strategy but what we said was incorrect
- A genuine "benchmarking" study if that's how they want to go, putting the prices at an appropriate level in relation to similar clubs (so not Liverpool and Manchester City) with data to back up the structure. This would of course mean that the prices emailed out a fortnight ago do not apply because they're miles out of kilter
- A commitment to restoring the stadium back to where it was 5-6 years ago, which shouldn't be hard
- Confirming that going forward, all price rises will be thoroughly discussed in advance with fan groups at very least and any increases to be justified with evidence to suggest why we need to do this and why it is appropriate

I still almost certainly wouldn't have changed my mind but all of that would be "a step in the right direction". We've got none of that.

No it’s not halving the increase.

This isn’t a dig at you CLD but Its baking in a huge price increase front loaded so they get all the cash in year 1 and the same again in year 2. The combined 2 seasons is 3% higher than what a 7.8% rise in each season would have been.
On top of that it’s bollocks who they are benchmarking us against, they’ve all but admitted that their only goal is survival (don’t dream of Europe) have decimated the playing squad to such an extent we were playing youth team strikers for a chunk of the most important part of the season, and the ground is in a sad decline.
It’s a piss take.

I'm not renewing in 2024 on principle, what the price will be in 2025 is irrelevant, if it's still £735 then it's still far too expensive and massively divorced from reality, and I can't even guarantee what league we'll be in by then.
