zero chance of that team ever playing a league game though. Circumstances led to that team finishing a game.

The takeover hit the final stages around June so our transfers in were cancelled. We know players like Powell and Sylla were put on ice and we don't know which others were in the process (couldn't have happened before Lonergan signed could it...bastards). There is no doubt we have taken huge strides and increased the quality of what we are able to sign and if things had stayed as there were last summer a lot of our signings would have been "meh" at best. All that team really shows is how little time Fosun had last August to sort a team out and hence the success rate was not that good.

They gave their second string 11 a full 90 mins last night, and apparently the plan is to do the same today, so it's unlikely they'll make any subs other than for injuries.
