So we have our managers agent and Doc's BFF and we still rely on Glasgow as our ITK?!Here's Gary's agent
i’m sure he’ll turn it around within a few gamesOne thing that's not been mentioned about GON is he's not here to put a fire out...
He finds an integrated, almost balanced squad who's fall was arrested by JL last season...
It's a pretty good situation to walk in to.
i have feeling that 5-0 and 6-0 will be something we look back fondly on by Christmas. To be honest, as long as we are competitive I don’t mind - I can’t be dealing with the Wolves of last season who surrender to 6-0 and 5-0 lampings, or lose 4-2 to Leeds.
Didnt mick get done 5 by the baggies once?Jones lost 0-5 once but Mick never did.
TC lost 0-5 at home to Man Utd (thanks Zubar).

But he wants to (potentially) pack our team with West Ham pensioners in the current market we’re shopping in. That’s not his fault, that’s down to financial mismanagement from above. He has however identified Gomes, Lemina and Dawson. He identified Enzo and Scott (it remains to be seen how the latter does at Bournemouth). Signing Matt Doherty was even a “best we’re gonna get in this situation” deal.
Hobbs was the chief scout until last NovemberThe chief scout, the one who's just left.....maybe it was him who identified all of them, and Hobbs just got them into the club? Don't know, just wondering.
Pfffft he was Chief of sitting around in South America more like.Hobbs was the chief scout until last November
It's way to early to be judging O' Neil . He has only managed one other club before at any level from what I can make out and took on what looked to be a very difficult job . He didn't just save Bournemouth from relegation on the final day , he did so with a few weeks to spare .Thinking about O'Neil, out of the other managers in the league, I'd only prefer O'Neil to Dyche and Heckingbottom. I don't know enough about Andoni.
That's about it though isn't it?
I know. But I'm talking about right now. It's way to early to be judging O' Neil .
Edwards hasn't put a foot wrong so far tbf. I'd be very happy if we appointed him. Plus he 'knows the club'.I'm not sure I'd have Rob Edwards over him.
