Next Manager chat.

No, you called him a fucking nutcase - anyone can show characteristics of sociopathy, it's a meaningless statement. Hyperbole.

I didn't say he would be a good appointment, I said there were very many more worse options.

I didn't say that he was the only person to show those characteristics and i would guess a lot of managers have shown them but he has shown them multiple times in front of the cameras and those are the part of the reasoning why i wouldn't want him as our manager, i am allowed to have that opinion and that's not hyperbole or a meaningless statement that is my take on what i've seen from him.

"Talks" is a very vague phrase, anyway. For all we know those talks could have been Fosun calling Pearson up only to say, "sorry, wrong number".

I hope that Fosun take their time over this one. Zenga, his team, and all the signings were all done in a mad rush. The new guy will need to trim the squad down before he adds.

I still believe that Pearson's 'success' at Leicester was more to do with a strong back room team - Shakey / Stowell and the guy who went to Everton as it was to do with him. No surprise that with a good manager Leicester then over achieved and Pearson nose dived. He's a cunt - I don't want him at our club

Can't see Pearson has done a whole lot wrong in either his paying career or his managerial career.
So he grabbed an opposition player round the neck and he called a journalist an ostrich. Whoopee.
If Mick McCarthy had done the same while at wolves everyone would have thought him a hero.

Well, Pearson wouldn't be my first choice if we're going British (Rowett) but he'd be a long way from my last as well (Freedman, Ince...) I do think we need to stop being so precious about who we want and don't want at our club. It's not so long ago that a few posters we're saying "No, don't want potato head Steve Bruce" since when he has taken Hull to promotion and an FA Cup final. Arklo is dead right: if MM had called a journo an ostrich comments would have been along the lines of "Ha Ha, top banter. That's what you get with Mick."

Anyway, another day, another rumour from the mill. Have a good day, all

McCarthy offered our fans out so he's got credit in the knobhead bank too. While Pearson certainly wouldn't be my first choice I'd take him over the likes of Wilmots or Freedman any day.

The new Rotherham manager seems to talk a lot of sense he's British too.

I totally agree. It seems that whoever is mentioned is not good enough for Wolves. I would be interested in who people want rather than don't want. Personally, I would prefer Silva, but if the club decide to go for a British manager then I would go for Nigel Clough.

Shame he's a little clueless at this level.
In hindsight perhaps we should have kept him as the "stop gap" until we got the higher profile manager we were after. That said I never ever want to witness the abomination that was last seasons football again.

Just no. We should have done what we are doing now with Edwards, and not made a poor, hasty appointment like Zenga.

Talk elsewhere about Martin Jol - good record a few years ago, but is he yesterday's man?

Actually yes that would have made more sense. Well tomorrow we will find out about this identity he is talking about and I for one am very excited!

Not sure anyone that has called the ostrich thing banter could have actually seen/heard it. It was out and out nasty verbal belitting and bullying done with a certain amount of aggression.

Talk is cheap though Siggy - it's a real leap from the turgid, clueless dross against Leeds to orgasms in Blackburn.

The more I read about Pearson's recent antics the less I want him, I am all for a tough talking manager but not some unstable nutjob.

Yes it is but I hope we see more of the 2nd half against Villa type performance or perhaps something new. If he has any ambitions of getting the job I would expect some changes to that lineup, he spoke of the fact he may have to upset a few (thinking Doc after Leeds) he also made a point that everyone has to work hard, is that a passive stab at those he sees as slacking??

Yes it is a jump but I want a nice Saturday night that follows a decent performance and hopefully 3 points in the bag.

Actually I couldn't care less who manages us if they deliver good football and a fighting chance of promotion! Sorry. Tyrion Lannister could turn up and I woulkd back him if the football was good enough. Initially Zenga got some good football going! Recently its been off.

Sticking with this
