All the last couple of pages prove is all clubs have some knobs supporting them!
As for the actual subject I liked Zenga as a person but it always looked like a temporary appointment after the other guy took the Spain job. If he'd done OK he'd have stayed longer but it's not working so why leave it to be a Christmas present?
As for the new guy, please not Freedman or any of the other bunch who float around between Championship/L1 clubs. Silva or Allardyce would be fine by me. I do expect a foreign coach though.

But do you really think either of those two will come to Wolves?

Yes, I think they might. Let's face it, it is hardly new news that we have suddenly become rather loaded, and most people in football seem to get their head turned by cold hard cash. I wouldn't insult your intelligence by pretending that they would come here out of some misguided love for Wolverhampton, or that they had Derek Dougan posters on their bedroom walls as kids.

Hmm I suppose so, but I can't imagine Villas Boas has even heard of Wolverhampton, and that's not a dig! It will be someone less spectacular such as Freedman or the like.

Well, he wasn't a complete disaster anyway. Played some good football when they beat us 4-2 at the iPro.

Was doing well at Derby till they sacked him for no apparent reason.

Silva, AVB, Wilmots, Allardyce, Pearson in that order.

Just please no mentions of McLeish, Curbishley, Woy, Holloway, or Giggs.

No way in hell would Allardyce ever manage a club owned by such fierce overseers as Fosun.

All these names being mentioned, and it will probably be someone we never thought of. The important thing is that FOSUN get this appointment right. Whoever is pulling the strings needs to ensure that we do not end up with someone who is just not good enough to take Wolves to the next level. Zenga was a big mistake that must not be repeated.

A classic combination would be Ferguson Senior and Ferguson Junior. I would take that happily. Ferguson senior has always been well disposed to us, and Darren played for us.
It goes without saying that getting Ferguson back would go down well in China.

A serious question. I must admit I have no idea who is pulling the strings at Wolves. If it is Mendes, as has been suggested elsewhere, can we expect the next manager to be one approved by him?

He was piping someone's wife apparently.

Wolves manager option: Stephen Kenny of Dundalk. Very interesting background… #WWFC

They looked surprisingly adept against Zenit last week, big step up from a part time job though.
