Not won away at Middlesbrough since 1951 (and have obviously never won at The Riverside)...is this our time? Bamford has started to hit goals for them after they finally decided to pick him (they've been inadvertently helped out by Rudy Justhead getting injured) and Traore seems to have worked out how to play football lately rather than being a freakish circus act.

Might as well just send the U18's out. Lost before we kick a ball as it is now a written rule that we can't beat Boro away

Fuck that! I want to see German Phil play...Send the U23's

That's the XI for me, no need to change, can't see German Phil making the bench though.

Would take a draw as we obviously can't win here.

I'm after parking & pub advice from anyone's that's been before. Much appreciated.

Agree on the starting team. This is the year for Record breaking, might as well win at Boro while we're at it!

After recent weeks, I hope extra work is being done on defending at set plays. Have a feeling Boro will target this area with some pure Pulisball.

Alf probably won't play so there's one less player we have to worry about just letting his man run three yards off him.

Also hoping we don't put our smallest player on a major threat (like when Jota marked John Terry at Villa Park)

Set plays v Boro and Cardiff will be key to our success in the games. We deal with them, we will take 4 points at least, we defend like we did at Villa Park and we get 0 and another 2 mini cyber meltdowns to deal with

Did I read somewhere that Saiss got injured on Friday?

If you're not in colours then pubs won't be a problem. We usually have a beer or two in the Issac Wilson aka the Issac Newton (private joke with Jabba and Leeds) and then call in the odd pub on the way towards the ground.
As for parking there is a pretty big car park near Cineworld which is a pay car park. Middlesbrough Leisure Park, Marton Rd, Middlesbrough TS1 2DY

Same team to start - no problem with Phil on the bench as he needs to show that he has sufficient fitness to get through a match

This is a free hit anyway as we have not won there since almost before I was born! (& I have a few years advantage on most on here )

We are better than them. We appear to have got our act together again. We will be going to win. I can’t see us losing all of Flum, Villa, Boro, Cardiff and Derby at the back end of the season. 3 points, promotion wrapped up the following week.

At the moment 12 points needed (though in reality less as Villa & Fulham won't win all 8 games anyway) - 3 from this, which we are capable off & it all gets nearer

No matter how much the TV pundits trot them out, past performances are irrelevant to future results. If we don't win, it won't be because 'we never win'. We've had a few negative surprises recently; I'm hoping for a positive one on Friday. Pulis really has to go for the points. If we can score first we might well grab another 3-0. Optimistic.
