Loan Watch 2017-2018

Fucking hell Mark - have a day off will you?

You throw something out there with more holes than a Tim Spiers opinion piece then expect to have it picked up on.

It's a disgusting thing to say regardless, we can all agree on that.

Wolves Academy @Wolves_Academy
Unfortunately Wolves U23s forward @Niall_ennis46 has had his loan spell @shrewsweb cut short due to injury.

Expected time out 6 months.

Terrible news for the lad.

Terrible news. A second major injury, it doesnt bode well for the lad already. Hope Im wrong and he comes back stronger.

Third major injury, isn't it? Anyway, really bad news as he is very highly regarded in and outside of the club.

A quiet one this weekend;

Ethan Ebanks-Landell - MK Dons, League One.

Started against Oxford at home but limped off with what sounds like a hamstring injury after 35 minutes. Finished 1-1.

Niall Ennis - Shrewsbury Town, League Two.

Loan cancelled. Returns to Wolves.

Duckens 'The Duck' Nazon - Coventry City, League Two.

An unused sub as Coventry drew a blank at Chesterfield.

Jon Flatt - Cheltenham Town, League Two.

Dropped from the team by Gary Johnson. They lost 1-0 at home to Stevenage.

Will Randall - Forest Green Rovers, League Two.

Another unused sub as FGR lost 3-1 at Wycombe.

Aaron Simpson and Aaron Hayden - AFC Telford, Conference North.

Simpson started but was then replaced by Hayden on 20 minutes after picking up an injury. Hayden went on to 'inexplicably' give a penalty away helping Blyth Spartans win 3-2 at the New Buck's Head.

Ryan Leak, TNS FC, Welsh Premier League.

An unused sub in an Iron-Bru cup tie against Livingston.

Looks like it's to cover Aaron Simpson's injury.

OP updated.

Paul Cook has said that Wigan have a fee agreed for Lee Evans if they want to make the move permanent.

No surprise, no way back in for him here.

I have a strong suspicion that he'll end up just like Michael Jacobs, too good for L1, not up to the Championship. (NB: that doesn't mean I forgive Ken for constantly playing Edwards at #10 and giving Jacobs about 50 minutes there in an entire season)

Conor Levingston joins Hednesford on a loan for a month.

A round-up from this weekend;

Dominic Iorfa - Ipswich Town, Championship .

A full game once again in a 2-1 loss at QPR. Mick moved him to left centre-half which is strange as I'd have thought he'd want to make use of his pace down the flank. Defending was a bit wooden for the goals once again.

Joe Mason - Burton Albion, Championship.

Started on the right side of a front three in a 5-0 thumping at Leeds but was subbed after an hour. Made no mark on the game.

Lee Evans - Wigan Athletic, League One.

A full game in a 1-0 defeat at Shrewsbury. Is taking corners now and seems to be a key player. Booked.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell - MK Dons, League One.

Missed a 1-0 win at Plymouth through injury.

Jack Ruddy - Oldham Athletic, League One.

Made his debut away at Fleetwood and had a decent game. Booked for timewasting before a penalty at the end which suggests he may be a bit of a character. Finished 2-2.

Duckens 'The Duck' Nazon - Coventry City, League Two.

Came on after 68 minutes but did nothing of note. Coventry won 1-0.

Jon Flatt - Cheltenham Town, League Two.

On the bench again. A clean sheet for his replacement, Flinders, suggests he might have to wait a bit longer for a return.

Will Randall - Forest Green Rovers, League Two.

Handed a start against at home to Exeter and lasted the 90 minutes. Caused a few problems down the left flank but to no avail as his team lost 3-1.

Aaron Simpson, Aaron Hayden and Connor Johnson- AFC Telford, Conference North.

A bit of a horror show this one. Simpson and Hayden both miss out through injury but Johnson retains his place against Harrogate. It's 1-1 in the second half and Johnson gives away a free-kick from which the visitors score. This starts a collapse whereby he gets sent off for two bookable offences and Harrogate grab three more to win 1-5. A 5th straight home defeat. Ouch.

Jordan Allan - Airdrie United, Scottish League One.

Came on as a sub after 74 minutes in a 3-1 defeat at Stranraer.

Ryan Leak - TNS FC, Welsh Premier League.

An unused sub in a 4-0 win.

Conor Levingston - Hednesford Town, Evo-Stik Northern Premier League
.

Came on as a sub after 70 minutes in a 3-0 win.

Paul Gladon - Heracles - Dutch Eredivisie
.

A full game in a 4-2 defeat.

From the midweek fixtures;

Joe Mason - Burton Albion, Championship.

Handed another start at Norwich and had one shot on goal before being subbed on 65 minutes. Finished goalless.

Jordan Graham - Fulham, Championship.

An unused sub for the second game running.

Lee Evans - Wigan Athletic, League One.

Another 90 minutes and his 100th career league appearance as Wigan caned Charlton 3-0 at The Valley.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell - MK Dons, League One.

Out again through injury.

Jack Ruddy - Oldham Athletic, League One.

Started at Bristol Rovers and pulled off a wonder save, according to a report. Oldham won 3-2, one of the goals went through his legs which will disappoint him.

Duckens 'The Duck' Nazon - Coventry City, League Two.

Scored a great goal, as shown above. Subbed on the hour. Coventry won 2-0.

Jon Flatt - Cheltenham Town, League Two.

Still on the bench. Cheltenham lost 1-0 at Newport.

Will Randall - Forest Green Rivers, League Two.

Started against Lincoln. Subbed on 77 minutes. Lincoln won 1-0.

Aaron Simpson, Aaron Hayden and Connor Johnson - AFC Telford, Conference North.

A full game for Johnson while Hayden was an unused sub. Telford won 3-2. Simpson's still out.

Conor Levingston - Hednesford Town, Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.

Came on as a sub after 67 minutes in a 5-2 defeat at Coalville.
