Played the 90 minutes in Town's first loss of a the season, at home to Fulham. Guilty of some static defending judging from the highlights. Was also booked for 'persistent fouling'; hope it wasn't an attack of the Berras. Fulham look the business again, though.
Joe Mason - Burton Albion
Came on in the 65th minute in a 1-1 draw with Sheffield Wednesday and scored within the first ten seconds. Went up for a header from a throw, the defender misses it and it falls for Mason, who spins and hits it neatly into the bottom corner. Nice goal.
Goal around the minute mark;
Lee Evans - Wigan Athletic, League One
Another full game in a 1-1 at home to Kenny's Pompey. A familiar sight for KJ with Evans, Jacobs and Byrne in the Wigan side. Evans put in a peach of a cross in the dying moments but the header was saved.
Ethan Ebanks-Landell - MK Dons
A full game as Franchise FC lost 4-1 at Blackburn.
Niall Ennis - Shrewsbury Town, League One
Left out of the squad. Apparently down to an injury.
Duckens 'The Duck' Nazon - Coventry City, League Two.
Handed a start but had a quiet game in a 2-0 loss at Yeovil. Had a pot-shot that flashed side. Subbed on 80'.
Jon Flatt - Cheltenham Town, League Two
On the losing side in a 4-3 home defeat to Exeter. Not a fat lot he could have done for the goals. Liam McAlinden starred for the visitors.
Aaron Simpson and Aaron Hayden - AFC Telford
Another 90 minutes for Simpson but Hayden was dropped and remained an unused sub. The Bucks won 3-0 at Leamington. Not a bad start for Rob Edwards.
Paul Gladon - Heracles - Notched his second goal in four matches in a 2-2 draw at home to Excelsior. Jockeyed then turned the defender to go one-on-one then lifted the ball past the keeper with a tidy finish.
Forest Green aren't equipped to be a Football League team, Nailsworth is laughably small. It's got a marginally larger population than Bilbrook where I live. Believe me there will never be a Bilbrook Athletic climbing up the pyramid.
Plus they're far too holier-than-thou for my liking.
Until January would just suggest the next stage of his progression rather than being home sick. See how he copes with (hopefully) an extended run of 1st team games.
He's 20 now so too old to just be playing U23 football for another year realistically. Needs games. Walsall didn't bother using him when we sent him there last season.
