That was some run from Isak and some shoddy defending to go with it. Isak is some player mind.

I hate the way they have recruited, in a back handed complementary kind of way

I hate their ownership, but they have definitely recruited well. I know a lot of people still have their doubts about Newcastle on the pitch too, but I think it will be Man City and them within the next 2 seasons. They will be regularly finishing above Liverpool, Spurs, Man Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal, sooner rather than later.

Everton have been dreadful defensively, and barely threatened Newcastle. Very little fight in them against anyone half decent.

I was thinking Saints still had a glimmer of a chance if they won tonight. Welp.

Everton have got to go to Leicester and win.

Forest are going to stay up aren’t they…

Well if Everton lose then that's 3 points for Leicester, so not necessarily

Unfortunately Forest have got Chelsea in a couple weeks so probably nailed on win there

I'd say Leicester is a mustn't lose, but if they draw they have to win their last 2 against us and Bournemouth

Forest have Brentford (a) Southampton (h) Chelsea (a) Arsenal (h) Palace (a)
A lot depends how arsed the opposition are that they play against.

I did think this. Can see them being on 35 level with Forest, but we really going to let them beat us? I can’t see it and would certainly hope not.

Can’t see how Leeds get past 35 though. They are going to need Spurs to be on the beach and get points against West Ham and Bournemouth.

Might be quite clear after the next round of fixtures. Everton and Leeds lose then they will become clear favourites IMO

Again depends on what mood West Ham, Spurs and Bournemouth are in

Well we are clearly better than them, but we've seen countless times at the end of the season an inferior team beat a superior one when one has something to fight for and the other doesn't. Not saying they will, but think they'd have a better chance then than they would have done if they'd played us Tuesday night for example

And they might have to keep Dyche on as manager if they go down, nobody else would be interested due to the budget and rebuild needed

I can easily imagine they give Dyche a pass entirely and let him completely rebuild.
