Looking at the championship play offs whoever comes up will have huge build on their hands for next season. Not sure where Luton will play pretty sure Kenilworth Road will not be fit for VAR tech to be implemented so may need to ground share.
They need to spend £10mill on it I believe. Which would be well worth it.

At least they haven't got a plastic pitch like last time

It's an interesting article.

It highlights to me that ex-pros shouldn't be automatically given managers jobs as they're pretty shit at it.

Defoe has Redknapp as a mentor and thinks players just doing their thing is good management.

That's Saunders level stuff.
Absolutely. But equally applies to Redknapp, Gerrard, Rooney etc

This will surely be Lampard last PL gig for a while.

He was banging on about 'not having a magic wand' again last night ffs... like Nathan Jones and his 'greatest of respect'

How you can manage at the top level in 2023 when you're a thick as pigshit walking cliche spouter with no self-awareness is beyond me

They are about to put spades in the ground on a new stadium
They are , but that'll take time to complete you'd have to think .

Anyway - they may have impressed under Edwards ( who has done a fine job there let's be fair ) , but they're far from promoted yet . Those playoffs can be a graveyard for many a decent side .

Where Kenilworth road is, dreadful. Bedfordshire Yeoman the best pub which is not a great recommendation. Proper tallest dwarf. Wherever they sling the new ground, Luton/ Dunstable is a right hole.

I drove through Dunstable during a World Cup a few years ago and practically every house had at least one England flag, with many having Britain First on them. The pubs were barely visible behind flags and bunting. More gammon than a Danish meat factory.

I spent from 9 years old until Uni near Dunstable (little village called Ivinghoe). Best thing about Dunstable was a great shop that had D&D and wargaming stuff. Everything else there was shall we say sub optimal

Everton look like they have more players on the pitch than Newcastle

Running around like headless chickens, if Newcastle calm down they can play around them. Could do with them not being to be shit like Brighton were last night

Having longstaff in midfield is hurting them imo. He's the weak link

Everton look organised and are pressing well

Read a 'Breaking News. post which said Potter is coming back to take over from Lampard for the remainder of the season!
Wow!!
Turned out to be that fake 'On the Bench' or something website.
But it did intrigue me.
Lampard has lost about 15or 16 games and won I think 1?

Trippier can’t run here and is clearly trying to get through to HT and Newcastle keep playing high tempo much to his annoyance!
