No real suprise that Arsenal are capitulating here on the back of their recent performances.

3-1 Forest fair to say they’ve hugely benefited from timing of fixtures

I reckon if the season was a few games longer Lampard would have a chance of dragging Chelsea into the relegation battle...

He really is remorselessly shit isn’t he. It’s wonderful to see.
His team tonight is just merking the Chelsea fans. All that attacking talent on the bench and Sterling up front on his own.

And who the fuck is taking Frank Lampard seriously. Guy needs to just pack it in as he’s making himself look very stupid. Don’t think his ego could handle admitting he’s a failure like Neville does.

You’d never have thought he’s a Tory would you. They should let him run for my safe seat of Rutland with its majority of 5 million tweed gilet wearing gammons - I’d somehow be celebrating a Labour win in 2024.

Lampard doesn’t even come across as a nice bloke in interviews. Obviously this current Job is purely because of who he is and the owner having nil clue, but I can’t see how he gets another job anywhere.

Very good chance the title will be done and dusted by the time we go to the emirates.
City can afford to drop 4 points and still win it and that’s assuming Arsenal win their last 5 which includes a trip to Newcastle.

Plus a home tie against us...

Defoe had an interesting interview in the Athletic about the opportunities available to him. When you look at what opportunities Lampard has received it does seem to be relevant to look at what biases are in play

It's an interesting article.

It highlights to me that ex-pros shouldn't be automatically given managers jobs as they're pretty shit at it.

Defoe has Redknapp as a mentor and thinks players just doing their thing is good management.

That's Saunders level stuff.

This will surely be Lampard last PL gig for a while.

Looking at the championship play offs whoever comes up will have huge build on their hands for next season. Not sure where Luton will play pretty sure Kenilworth Road will not be fit for VAR tech to be implemented so may need to ground share.
