Live Match Discussion 2018/19

Not sure how Cardiff didn’t score, Allison dodgy from another corner as he was in the first half.

Looks like Arsenal are about to lose at home in the leaague for the first time since the opening day, and drop points for the first time since playing us!

They really can't be this bad again on Wednesday.

Arsenal need a whole new back 4. Finally got central midfield sorted only to realise the defence is shit too.

Stupid from Morrison, although Salah goes down very easily (surprise surprise) asking for trouble though with his hands all over him.

Brain dead from Morrison having said that it’s as soft a penalty as you like.

I think it's soft, no chance it gets given at the other end.

Mind you his "clearance" deserved punishing, parks level stuff.

If that's a penalty then I want a penalty from that cunt Atkinson on EVERY corner where people are being held.

I also wonder why Salah doesn't fall over when the players all celebrate, much more contact then.

What are Cardiff supposed to have done to the pitch, ???? picking up comments on the commentary but no explanation.

Some top level shit refereeing from Moss today. Missed three penalties for arsenal.

Another Ref that needs binning off, simply not up to standard a long with the likes of Mason and Roger East.

Ok go it, no ball boys and no watering of the pitch to make it slower and more difficult to pass the ball.

palace have done well by and large on the road tbf. Wins at Newcastle, Man City, Leicester, Us, Burnley and Arsenal in the bank. Decent effort.

They balance it out by being truly woeful at home. Four wins, 14 goals, only Huddersfield are worse on either measure.

Comes back to the argument that's been rolling for weeks, so long as you get the points do you care that much where they came from? I do know as a ST holder in 2009/10 I felt a bit short changed by the quality of our football at Molineux (we had a pathetic goals scored record IIRC) but then we stayed up in the PL for the first time ever. So swings and roundabouts.

Edit: Just checked. We scored 13 goals at home all season. Worst in the division by an absolute mile.

09/10 season became a very turgid affair especially after we won at West Ham and we could draw our way to safety. Games against Everton, Stoke, and Fulham Spring to mind as being very dour affairs.
10/11 was different as we regularly found ourselves in must win situations and had to play more with the handbrake off.

Just watched England U16s barely break a sweat in beating Brazil 4-0 in the Montaigu tournament. Seriously talented group - don't think it will be long before we see quite a few of these boys making first team appearances. Hope is that Dembele and Musiala commit to England too.
