I think Potter fits the bill. Their problem is they have mince strikers. Give him Neto and Raul and I think he'd get us playing some decent stuff. Brighton have a decent defensive record too.
Nathan Jones, please God no-one make the joke I don't understand, perhaps a warning sign the league below. His Luton side were entertaining and overachieving, look to be performing well again now too, but he was awful for Stoke in between.
Thanks for that, I feel the same.Rarely post on here but known Bill Turley years and trust him , worried now as want Nuno to stay.
Are you saying he should pack his bags? Maybe all he needs is a little time?
Well, Winters passed, Spring and Fall...
Best post of the thread and only one like .We finished above Arsenal and level with Spurs last year, so, yes, I absolutely do think it's reasonable to expect us to be competitive with those clubs, particularly given the resources our owners have.
We should at least be in the Euro mix, and perhaps we would have been, without injuries, but I wonder if there's something fundamentally wrong with the wider set up at the moment. Why is Nuno suddenly bereft of ideas? Why have the players turned into a pub team? Why are all our new recruits duds? Has something changed behind the scenes that has affected everone's motivation? Can't blame everything on Covid, and injuries have been around as long as football. This club had been running like a well-oiled machine for three seasons since Fosun took over. This year it's more like a well-oiled stag party.
No reference to a pop song though....Best post of the thread and only one like .
Supreme post - no further reference needed ...No reference to a pop song though....
Not being familiar with the back catalogue of Bananarama is really saying somethingNathan Jones, please God no-one make the joke I don't understand
Which posts do you feel have been particularly disrespectful?Nuno deserves far more respect that some of you are giving him.
He got us up on 99 points, we finished 7th and 7th, even this season will be our higher finish than any other manager got us.
His latest interview regarding the number of injuries and changing his thinking to have a bigger squad.
Nuno has my full backing even if we lose on Monday by a bigger margin than McCathys last game.
In Nuno I trust to take us higher and higher.
Just in case... https://footballbh.net/2019/06/29/t...pedro-martins-olympiacos-super-league-greece/Feels like the right place to pop this but Pedro Martins (Olympiakos coach) is apparently being lined up as our next manager. Not necessarily for next season though.
That’s a change in style!Feels like the right place to pop this but Pedro Martins (Olympiakos coach) is apparently being lined up as our next manager. Not necessarily for next season though.
