Let's talk about Nuno....

Bookies no longer taking bets
Definitely seems in the know :ROFLMAO:

For what it's worth, if it is true I can see Nuno taking time out and spending time with his family for a while after not seeing them properly for a long time.

I’m sure every club in the world wants a young and upcoming manager (the amount of experience you’ll get in one of these is going to be minimal, it’s as good as an oxymoron) who knows how to win games. Trouble is there aren’t any and if there were they wouldn’t be coming here.
i dont want a mourinho type of manager..i want one who like to play attacking football

Trouble is with young upcoming managers who like to play attacking football very rarely know how to defend as well. I'd say Fulham under Parker are pretty decent to watch going forward but they're a sieve at the back. Would you take an old manager who plays attacking football?

But in our first two seasons in the PL under Nuno we had movement off the ball (Doherty, Jonny, Jota, Raul) and our counter attacks were lethal and our trademark. You're asking for that in a manager and we already have him, he's already done it. He's had one really dodgy season.

And "really dodgy" in this world is just being a bit boring and being in mid-table, never even remotely near a relegation fight. Oh no.

I dont think Nuno ever have played attacking football..mostly sitting back and counter..and when we cant counter anymore, there is nothing or just up to Neto and Traore to create something alone..I like a Bielsa style of play at Leeds

I never said he played attacking football, my post literally says our counters were lethal and our trademark. He tried to be more progressive this season but for a plethora of reasons it didn't work and he had to turn to trying to grind out results which became hard to watch and on some occasions we were fucking awful. Nothing suggests we'll have more of the same next season.

And I'd rather not have someone quite as gung ho as Bielsa who can just easily concede five as score five.

Ok, yeah, but I would like that

You would also like us to play five up front, 1950s style.

Rarely post on here but known Bill Turley years and trust him , worried now as want Nuno to stay.
Thank you for the extra info Rhos. I do read MM every so often and you seem to be one of the good posters on there. If you trust this poster than I echo your sentiments of concern. Let’s hope it’s a false alarm.
