Let's talk about Nuno....

Absolutely. I love Coady, but there's more to being a leader than bellowing words and formations: it's about performing like a leader too which he hasn't done for some time in terms of confidence and the mistakes he has made.
Absolutely agree. I love him too, but i think he should have a couple of games off. Let's try something different. Whether Nuno will do that is the question.

We all love Nuno. We all love Coady. We all value the culture we've built up over the past four years.

But no one would suggest if you left Coady out of your starting lineup that you were kicking a puppy, or that it was some kind of moral outrage.

That was my issue the other day. It was over-sentimental, borderline cult of personality stuff.

Even the loveliest managers can go into decline or hit a ceiling. It's not heresy to wonder if that's what's going on, in a thread specifically created to discuss that

The most annoying thing about this thread by far (which is really saying something) is it gives me a salt n peppa earworm every fucking day, all day long.

Oh no, I don't think it's heresy at all to question what the problem is. I think some of us believe Nuno can fix it, whereas some of us don't - and that's fine.

Actually I'm not sure anyone thinks he can't fix it. It's more levels of doubt perhaps.

It certainly seemed heretical on here the other day! As usual we're probably all closer together than we at first think

Absolutely: I think this is the first time I've ever known a Wolves manager have fans desperately hoping he CAN fix it. If this were Mick, Lambert, Saunders, Solbakken we'd all be calling for their heads by now. The only one who probably comes anywhere close is Jackett.

Roy Keane is my guess, but I didn't know he was a Wolves fan 😉

I’m pretty fookin old. Apart from in comparison to Darlo. He makes Gandalf look like a school kid

If we were on this sort of form with fans in the ground the atmosphere would be definitely turning by now. Even still Nuno would get far more breathing space than say MM. Big difference is the way managers communicate to the fans, Nuno is very astute to say the right things and keep the fans on his side. In comparison MM came across as arrogant and an attitude of “I know best so shut up” MM regularly grumbled at the fans which just isn’t a great idea.

We know, not like some on here who even call themselves 'young' but really they're like that bloke down the pub who's getting on a bit but still has a pony tail, he's kidding no one !
It's an Alice band. Get it right.

If we had fans then I'd say there's no way we'd have lost to Albion, for example. Probably would have beaten Spurs too. So change those results and there probably is no vitriol.

It has an impact for sure.

It’s hypothetical certain Leeds may argue they’d have got something against us with fans in or Chelsea would say they’d have won with fans.
This climate has helped teams that have good training ground players but go hiding in front of a crowd.

Must have imagined the continuous ‘Turner must go Alo’ chanting all game... 😐
