Sorted for you mateyI appreciate the irony of someone who says "OK mate, well you're obviously spoiling for a fight but I'm not getting sucked in this time... I'll leave you to it!", and then proceeds to carry on having digs at people !
Indeed. He was clearly looking for a fight, with all the sly digs, so I walked away (and I notice you did too ).I appreciate the irony of someone who says "Don't tell me when to post", and then proceeds to delineate the acceptable content of other people's posts
There’s a certain tone to some posts (from untouchable posters on this forum) that are clearly looking for confrontation. Constant little jibes (just read through the posts on this very thread last night, ffs). Those posters come across as if they’re looking down their nose at anyone who dares to say something vaguely critical (in the heat of a match, generally when the team isn’t performing very well) of the club. Yet they spend 90% of their time telling everyone else that they’re the problem. They’re a stain on the forum. They’re acting like “toddlers” etc etc.I don't like the matchday threads and do stay away, bar the odd half time comment occasionally. Why not reflect on why people don't like them though? You're supposed to like this club. It's exclusively negative.

That’s not decent debate. It’s shit.
But nothing will ever change, so whatever.
As I said - I’m bowing out of the discussion. As per my title, I’ve “got better things to do”
I agree. The comments on this thread last night were embarrassing and more likely “to put people off” than some slightly reactionary and hyperbolic posts on a match day thread.
Right. firstly if you're not going to stand by your comments, then i suggest not writing them down on an open forum, mumble it too yourself, it's safer and cannot be used against you, when you are proven wrong 45 minutes later.I agree.
There are always some shitty comments in matchday threads but at least they can be attributed to heat of the moment reactions. It's not even like they're completely baseless half the time, just somewhat over exaggerated.
People reacting to those comments with equal vigour hours, days or weeks after the event with all the time for reflection that brings are far more embarrassing. Why can't it just be let lie? The need of some to so vehemently defend their team at all costs just seems odd, does it really cause so much upset if someone says Wolves have done something wrong? It's almost like someone has come in slagging off their kids half the time.
Massive lack of tolerance across the whole argument.
