Good people of Britain...........PANIC

I dunno. I have been following netweather and blitzortung.org and there have been plenty of lightning strikes just south of Coventry and also around Nottingham. Just hard to predict where the storms will bubble up.

We had a bit of thunder and about 90 seconds of rain just North of Derby at around 1.45.

Temperature slowly building throughout the day, both inside and outside the office, not enjoyable.

It is just stupidly fucking humid. Doing my head in. Either fuck off cloud and bring the sunshine back or do it properly and have a lightning-tastic blow-out. This is shite to even sit in.

I'm sweating like a bastard after doing the washing up, FFS.

Perfectly said. The swearing helped the post.

I suffer with insomnia in the middle of winter so tonights gonna be fucking great fun!

Its hotter in Bilston than where I am.

Got an absolute beaut of a thunder storm about 3-15, kept knocking my electric off! The Sun is back now though

That was meant for you "Thunder in York" post Paddy...

A thunderstorm here looks as likely as a Jake Cassidy goal at the moment. Maybe it'll hit unexpectedly? Just need the humidity to lift.

What I don't get is if we have air-con, why the hell is it turned off with the windows open? I have to go to the bog to cool down :(

The upstairs office is very warm, but the AC isn't turned on as it dries one ladies eyes.

Club together and buy her some eye drops then tell her to "man-up"! :run:

The main line of thunderstorms has passed us by. We are going to be depending on stuff bubbling up from convection which usually starts showing some sign of kicking off by around 4pm. Nothing that I can see looking at the sky just yet.

The AC in my car makes my eyes water, i'll be blarting my eyes out all the way home in about 1/2 hr.

The car was showing 34 deg when i pulled off the car park last night, fuck knows what it'll be showing tonight.

It'll be about the same tonight.

Miserable fuckers.
I'll be cycling home in it wondering if I've got a job tomorrow...
