Good people of Britain...........PANIC

It has become very humid here. I don't know if we will have a storm, but I would not be surprised if we do.

I've got a right sweat on now, pieces of paper keep getting stuck to my arms when I lay them on the desk to type.

Probably worse for those wooly sheep I can see outside though, look like they could do with a trim.

Been working in a plant room all day and the temp was 44 degrees.

And I thought this Florida heat was bad!

The storm that said hello to Darlo was the most active thunderstorm globally for about twenty minutes. Very unusual for us. So far there have 5,269 lightning strikes in the UK today.

Wow. That really is Florida-esque. I thought the jet stream usually pushed that sort of weather away from you?

That'll be the main line from Newcastle to York buggered for trains then! Glad I'm not at work

We don't often get temperatures in the high nineties either. It is fucking brutal here today. The humidity is foul. It's like being in a slightly less crowded Singapore.

We've been no cooler than 93 and 90% humidity here for the past 3 weeks but I can't imagine the relative shock to the system that sort of weather must be on your end.

Just picked mini Langers up from school and stepping out of his air conditioned classroom into the heat was like the blast of hot air you get when you get off the plane on holiday.

I can't remember the last time it was this intense in the UK.

The scots on the news moaning about their 25 degree heatwave.

'Kin 33 degrees still.

I can remember being on the beach at Weymouth on the 100 degree day however long ago it was. This is just as brutal. Like being in a furnace.

I've had a lovely day by the sea in Bournemouth. Blue skies, sun and a nice breeze off the sea. Better than sitting in 30 plus degrees in my non air conditioned office in Coseley.

Further down in Florida it's just hit 108!

We had a top temp today of 36.7 degrees. A pleasantly cool 98.06F. It is approaching 7pm and we are still over 90F

I'm enjoying the heat. Bit of sunshine and a BBQ.
