Good people of Britain...........PANIC

Well, my daughter can't wait! We're dying to get a bit of snow. We really seem to have a sort of 'Golden Pocket' here on the East coast of Ireland.
Dundalk 40 miles north of me gets worse weather than us.
Dublin 40 miles south of us gets worse weather.
I wouldn't mind if there were mountains near us, but there's nothing!
Now, the weather is coming from the East!
So earlier this evening as I stood on the beach looking due East towards a point between Liverpool and the Lake District, (Blackpool would be about midway I suppose, ) I'm wondering what England is gonna send us by way of storms and snow and stuff....
Currently its about 2'.
The last time we had snow here (Enough to build a snowman) was about 6 or 7 years ago.
We actually got Susie up out of bed at 11pm (she was 5 or 6 years old) and took photos of her in a blizzard writing her name in the snow on the car, building a snowman, then went back to bed around 0030.
When she woke in the morning most of the snow on the lawn had gone and there was a misshapen lump of snow where the snowman had been....
Haven't had anything since then!

Sorry no pets in picture, but Ashmore Park, Wednesfield about half hour ago. Bus been stuck there about 30 minutes.

Sliding sideways with rear wheels, was getting closer to car alongside it which was just wheel spinning when tried to move.
There you go, I was writing a long technical post on what it could be, I’ll not bother now

Just had a correspondent from the BBC reporting from Birmingham stating the snow was so bad the M42 was reduced to traffic travelling at 30mph.
Better than normal then. 🤣

Irish radio full of traffic chaos and disruption, especially Cornwall (No trains west of Plymouth), Gatwick airport rail link is closed, all major airports all over the place, Ryanair plane left Dublin last night for Birmingham, got as far as Wales, circled for about 30 minutes then went back to Dublin! Couldn't land at Birmingham!!
Traffic and conditions especially in the WEST MIDLANDS are chaotic!
Conditions expected to ease as the day goes by.
Is Molineux affected? Is there a lot of snow around the town?
