Good people of Britain...........PANIC

The Mayans failed miserably

Nope. They didn't predict the end of the world. Their long count calendar just ended in 2012 and then....started again (but that doesn't make a good Hollywood film I guess "Today is the end but then it all starts again tomorrow"

So they failed at predicting the end that didn't happen, some would say that's even worse!

World Ending in Devon - Earthquake threatens to knock things of window sills and shelves.

How's the snow in the Midlands folks? In Wales, it's not too bad around Cardiff but further up the valleys its causing a fair bit of commotion. Haverford West even had tornados!

Light dusting at best. It's iced over which means pavements on quiet roads (like mine) are shit but this is the kind of weather that I would back James to negotiate.

Traffic was a nightmare this morning as people can not drive when there is snow on the grass.

Snow on the ground in Pittsburgh, icy under foot and me bin lids frozen shut, but life goes on as normal.

Second covering in NW Leics since Christmas. The first on Boxing Day lasted until late on New Years Eve.

I'd say just over an inch this time and it started at 10.30 pm just as the weathergirl on BBC East Midlands Today stated that we would miss the snow.

Had a bit over night but nothing to cause any bother, had frozen pretty solid by morning anyway, expected it to get worse as i got closer to work but was clear as anything once i'd passed Lichfield, been quite a pleasant day up in rural Derbyshire.

Fucking hell Craig!
What're ya doin' drivin' on the grass mate?
Snow that deep you didn't realise you'd left the tarmac?

Well, that's the point. People see snow on the grass and then forget how to drive on the roads even though they've been treated and are not slippy.
