Good people of Britain...........PANIC

Summer took a while to get going but what a September. Looks like there’s a bit of rain on its way but it’s been beautiful for a while and just can’t get enough of this. Going to be a bit brutal when the clocks go back.

Another impressive storm right over us, loads of thunder and torrential hail. Our road is flooded and I’ve never seen that in the 14 years I’ve lived here. It’s pretty mad.

And yet another storm just rolled over. Not as big as the others but the lightning was ace. Four storms in one day, loved watching them.

EDIT: Still some cracking lightning flashes over in the distance, looks over Telford way but can’t really gauge the distance.

Just heard probably the biggest clap of thunder since my existence on this planet.

It’s gone mental again here, mad lightning and massive cracks of thunder. Like huuuuuuge. This is the longest storm ever. We’ve just ordered donuts to see if they’ve got the balls to actually deliver them

Coming out of Villa Park in the thunder and lightning today and straight out of a Peter Kay routine I heard a home fan say “that’ll be Gary Shaw that will be”

Someone two streets over had their shed hit by lightning and it went up in flames. The rain put it out though.

we started a bowls match right as the storm started just after 2 yeatsreday. 30 mins later, EVERYTHING was underwater.
saw roads in penn/pennfields/finchfield flooded that i can't recall ever flooding before.

Judging by your photos you’re just at the back of my house, wondered what was burning last night, I could smell it.
I’ll give you a wave when I cycle past linthouse island on my way to work

They’re not my photos, I don’t know who took them my daughter got them of FB. I do go up Linthouse Lane to work though.

It’s still pissing it down today, it hasn’t stopped since I got up. The flood waters have gone but the ground has got to be absolutely saturated and with rain forecast non stop through until Tuesday morning it could cause a problem or two.
